Original artwork description
This piece has the three cities: New York, London, and San Jose, California, all merged into the one scene depicting a modern world that is within reach. The cities are represented by three strong women symbolic of each: the Queen (for London), Statue of Liberty (for NY) and Dionne Warwick (for San Jose - because of her famous song, "Do you know the way to San Jose").
This artwork is quite a large piece at 74x90cm unframed and with frame approx 85x100cm. It has been executed in pigment liners, markers, and acrylic inks on 140lb hot pressed watercolour paper.
Tale of Three Cities was on display in the Vogued exhibition at the Boomer Gallery in Tower Bridge area of London in March 2026.
