These portraits examine psychological presence beyond physical likeness. The human face becomes a field of tension — constructed through deliberate drawing and disrupted by expressive layers of color.
Blue operates not as a naturalistic tone, but as an emotional atmosphere. Fragmented brushwork and subtle distortions introduce vulnerability and interior movement. The figure appears suspended between strength and fragility, structure and dissolution.
Rather than depicting identity, the work questions it — presenting the body as a site of transformation and inner intensity.
