Original artwork description:

Sometimes those things which are worth uncovering are buried deep. This piece explores what has made us who we are. Layered with deeply embedded bits of ephemera, this painting has its own developed memory and history. Memory and history play into our perceptions, motivations, and decisions. The elements that have made it are paritally revealed through scraping and sanding. In a similar way, events that have shaped us are also paritally revealed and sometimes hidden.

This painting is sealed with a UV Topcoat for protection. Framed. Ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint, stabilo crayons, ephemera, image transfers, sanding/scraping
