In past times the sun was worshiped and called by many names from Ra in Egypt, Helios in Greece, Apollo in Rome and Maui in Polynesia. Around 15 million degrees C at its center and 6 million degrees C at its surface its energy radiates out to bathe our beautiful blue planet in a warm golden glow. Thank god for the sun !
