Summer night
Royal blue and Prussian blue,
The deep blues ,
Peaceful and calm,
As I walk,
I look back at Wincombe woods.
Words and feelings of my very local landscape where I live.
Original expressive watercolour on extra rough textured watercolour paper, bockingford 300gsm 140lb.
I wet the paper and used three colours in the Holbein range. I applied a build up of wet on wet washes. It was wet the whole time and there had to be a subtle image of the woodland tree line in the background.
Signed on the front and back of watercolour.
