"Summer Haze" is an original high texture abstract oil painting measuring 8 x 10 inches on a canvas panel, matted to a frame size of 11 x 14, and painted using professional grade oil paint.
The painting is sealed with a final coat of high-gloss varnish for protection. Ready to frame, standard 11 x 14 inches.
Signed on the mat. Titled, signed and dated on the back.
The Inspiration: Much of my work plays on the elements of texture and movement, pieces like “Summer Haze” specifically emphasize the textural elements that naturally come along with oil paintings. Using only one firm-bristled brush, each brush stroke retains its shape and texture; the repetitive motion and descending intensity from dark to light is always a very therapeutic process for me.
