The leopard traditionally represents power, agility, predatory instinct, and silent majesty. Here, it is not running or attacking, but in a pose of watchful waiting. This contrast is central: strength is expressed not through action, but through presence and potential. It is "quiet strength."
Patience and Presence
It is the waiting of the predator who knows the right moment will arrive. Symbolically, it speaks of self-control, of knowing when to act and when to hold back. The title "Strength and Patience" makes this duality explicit: true strength includes the ability to wait.
The eyes are the only point of color and become the emotional and symbolic fulcrum of the work. Green is often associated with vitality, intuition, nature, and inner "vision."
The direct gaze creates immediate contact with the viewer: it is not a distant animal, but a presence that "sees" and looks back at us.
This can evoke awareness, inner intensity, and a form of silent communication.

The contrast between detail and free lines
The feline's body is defined and realistic in its spots and structure, while the surrounding features are looser, almost chaotic. This contrast could symbolize internal order (the leopard) versus external disorder or the vital energy that surrounds it;
the discipline that contains and channels instinct;
or simply the tension between control and spontaneity, between form and raw strength.

The almost monochromatic tone reinforces the idea of ​​essentiality and formal purity. The green of the eyes "breaks" this austerity and becomes a metaphor for life, the soul, or the awareness that emerges from controlled strength.
The work does not celebrate the ferocity or violence of the predator, but a mature, aware, and patient strength. The leopard becomes a symbol of inner power that does not need to continually prove itself: it knows how to wait, observe, and act only when the time is right.
It is an image of potential content, of intense presence and balance between instinct and self-control. In short: strength without aggression, patience without passivity, and a gaze that invites the viewer to confront their own ability to remain present and focused.
