Original artwork description:

I painted this picture during my trip to Sardinia in May 2018. We lived in a villa surrounded by flowering lemon trees and olive trees. Bushes of blooming strelitzia grew near the terrace. Strelitzia, commonly known as Birds of Paradise, are famed for their brightly coloured and bird shaped blooms. I liked the combination of powerful dark green leaves and bright orange inflorescences.

Materials used:
Clairefontaine Watercolor paper 95 lb (200g), cold pressed, natural white, brushes, professional watercolors.
Size A3. Shipped unframed.
