Following a recent move from the town to the beautiful Shropshire countryside, I have taken joy in exploring the lanes and footpaths. Close to where I live in Waters Upton is this wonderful view of The Wrekin, one of the county's well known landmarks. It attracts many walkers and the view from the top on a clear day is breathtaking. The Wrekin has such a presence, grounded to the land from which it rises and acts as a beacon for amazing cloudscapes. There is a semi-abstract nature to this work, created by brush and palette knife. This together with a smidgeon of texture gives this landscape a contemporary feel.

This painting is sold unframed but is suitable to do so should you wish or it can be left to lean against something, on a bookcase for example. I do not varnish my paintings , as I prefer the slightly chalky look of the oils as laid down. If you would like it varnished before sending, I can do so at no extra cost.

The painting is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and initialled on the front.

I ship internationally using an insured, tracked and signed for service. Please note that payment of import duty/tax is the responsibility of the buyer.
