This watercolor painting was made on one of the first autumn days on the Mediterranean coast . A restless sea against a stormy sky, and glimpses of warm golden and pink shades of sunset are already visible on the horizon. In changeable weather, the constant change of light and color is always a difficult but challenging for plein air painting. I tried to capture the gloomy stormy mood of nature, contrasting with the soft warm color of the sunset sky.
