On the most perfect of days on a distant island, where the only sounds are the birds singing and the waves gently lapping at the shore, you can let your mind drift away.

Made on a small beach on the island of Orkney off the north east coast of Scotland, this is a once in a lifetime image. I used a long exposure to enhance the softness of this beautiful scene as the sun rose over the waves. In a place like this, you truly feel as if you can see the stairway to heaven.

Printed on metallic paper, the lighter areas of the print will gleam like the water itself. Perfect for framing or for having put under an acrylic layer.

I am passionate about the materials I use for my work and only use the highest quality for these special prints. This will be printed by me in my studio so I can ensure a perfect rendition of the colours.
