Abstract impressionist landscape, 80x80cm.

Colours and inspiration from the natural world uplift me. At this time of year, springtime is uppermost in my mind. This painting reminds me of early spring, early evening walks with a chill in the air and the sun just about to set over the water.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.

This 80x80cm landscape painting is acrylic on canvas. It’s unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord.
