Spring in Bloom is an original hand-pulled linocut inspired by the colour and freshness of the English countryside in spring.

A small cluster of cottages sits among rolling green hills, wildflowers and patterned fields. The simplified shapes and bright palette give the landscape a playful, graphic quality while still keeping a strong sense of place.

I wanted to capture that moment in spring when the countryside suddenly feels full of colour again, with fresh greens, flowers and new growth appearing across the landscape.

Each impression is individually inked and printed by hand, so small variations in colour and texture are a natural part of the work.
