I love it when suddenly all over Devon the trees go a vibrant green and the bluebells appear. This painting is a celebration of start of Spring. I worked on this painting over a number of days letting each layer dry before moving on the next. I've used oils, linseed oil and cold wax to create texture and atmosphere. The sides are painted a Paynes grey and the painting is ready to hang.
