Original artwork description
Walking on the fells is my passion and this particular valley is completely unspoilt. After several miles walking along the valley the weather suddenly changed and the sun starting to shine brilliantly between the clouds . I sketched it, made colour notes and photographed the moment. I wanted to capture the play of light which is so fleeting in an oil painting.
On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.
Splash Of Sunshine original oil painting created and painted by myself. The Artwork is framed in a white grained wood with a simple moulding. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
