Abstract oil landscape painting.

An abstract interpretation of the shifting light up on the South Downs, in England. Through autumn and winter, a soft mist rolls in from the sea, hiding and revealing the rolling hills. This painting captures the subtle light that brings beauty to the greens and dark sweeps of trees in this area of Sussex. The third artwork in a series of four, each depicting a season (please let me know should you wish you purchase more than one 'season', as I would be happy to offer a discount).

Painted with Michael Harding Professional Artists oil colours, on a gesso primed, mounted wooden board. The edges are painted white (please see additional photograph), and it is ready to hang. This piece is signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
