This painting was inspired by the blooming water lilies in the tranquil pond near my studio in Madrid, a place I revisited several times to capture its changing light and atmosphere. While painting from nature, I listened to birds singing, the gentle whisper of water, felt the soft breeze, and watched the shimmering leaves dancing above me — all these fleeting sensations found their way into the work.

Through luminous greens, deep blue reflections, and expressive brushstrokes, I sought to convey not only the beauty of the pond, but also the quiet poetry, harmony, and living energy of that moment in nature.
