This is a large mixed media painting on box canvas using oil and acrylic paints. I am interested in how paintings are constructed, I love building layers and textures to add interest and depth to a painting. I use Procreate on my iPad to play around with unusual colour combinations and layers enabling me to see what works and what doesn't work before committing it to canvas. Bright, fun and full of colour and texture this floral painting makes a big bold statement in any modern interior.
