Original artwork description:

The North Dakota Badlands in the US still have herds of Bison grazing freely. They are so uniquely and beautifully adapted to their environment. They blend into the colors of grass and sage, and dust. Chalk pastel was the perfect medium to express the subtlety of color. This Bison drawing is from a suite of three. They come matted and ready to frame.

Materials used:

chalk pastel on rag paper with acrylic sienna underpainting, with rag mat and back
