Original artwork description
Solitary turns a narrow city street into a chamber of amber light. Tall façades close in from both sides, while vehicles and distant traces of life gather far below, dwarfed by the architecture. The glowing centre promises openness but remains unreachable, held at the end of a dark urban passage. Rather than presenting solitude as simple emptiness, the painting locates it inside proximity: a city full of structures, movement and other lives, yet capable of making a single presence feel immeasurably small.
Oil on MDF, 70 × 103 cm. Unframed. Signed on the front and back. A signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.
