This abstract landscape painting is one out of a small series of landscape paintings done on a trip to the outer hebrides (Scotland) in 2019. The paintings combine watercolor, gouache and pencil.

This painting was done on the the ferry to the Isle of Lewis near the village of Ullapool. It reflects the landscape and atmosphere of the landscape and sea in during that day.

The paintings of this series show a strong combination of pencil drawing and watercolors, giving them quite some expressive dynamic.

Note: The painting is sold unframed. Images with frame are published as an example how specific paintings look like in a frame.
