I made the blazing sunset the soul of this painting, allowing the sky to glow with dramatic energy against the dark city silhouette. My goal was to express the emotional power of nature through bold colors and spontaneous movement.
I layered bold impasto with energetic palette-knife work and expressive brushstrokes. Strong warm–cool contrasts create dramatic tension while rich textures convey the movement and intensity of light.
