Portrait of Sir Anthony Hopkins.
I take regular workshops with A level students and take something along that I have started, and continue to paint in the classroom to demonstrate my process. I generally choose a familiar face, Sir Anthony was my choice this time. So, thought I would upload him now that he's finished.
He is painted quite brutally, I wanted to show the shapes of tonal areas that wrinkles & furrows create on an older face.
Framed with a simple black tray frame.
This will be the last celebrity face that I paint unless requested as a commission.
I am available for commission work and this can easily be arranged with me directly or via Artfinder.
