Silent Horizon (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Daria Vergina

60 x 80 x 3cm (unframed) / 60 x 80cm (actual image size)

£872.58

A minimalist abstract work that explores the inner boundaries and the state of transition between form and space.

The composition is built on the interplay between large black and deep gray-blue forms and soft beige and milky planes. These elements do not merely coexist—they create a sense of restrained tension and balance, as if they were in a moment of internal alignment. Delicate, almost imperceptible lines run across the surface, acting as symbolic boundaries. They do not separate, but rather denote internal states—those subtle moments when a person becomes aware of their limits and is simultaneously ready to reconsider them.

The texture of the work remains delicate, allowing light to interact softly with the surface. This creates a sense of depth without feeling overwhelming—a characteristic of contemporary minimalist aesthetics. The work evokes associations with the horizon—not a physical one, but an inner one. It is a point of stillness where the transition from limitation to awareness takes place.

It is ideal for modern interiors: minimalism, Japandi, contemporary, as well as for spaces where an atmosphere of calm, structure, and aesthetic purity is important.

Materials used:

acrylic, gesso, varnish
