This bold abstract seascape was created on the wild coast of the Isle of Lewis in the far north of Scotland, where the Atlantic light and shifting tides produce some of the most extraordinary colours in the world. In this contemporary coastal landscape, a burst of pale sand glows at the centre of the composition, set against deep blue horizons and distant islands that dissolve softly into the atmosphere.

Rich tones of turquoise, teal and deep ocean blue flow through the image as sea, sky and shoreline melt into one another. Created using subtle camera movement and long exposure techniques, the scene becomes a painterly interpretation of the landscape rather than a literal view, transforming the natural elements of water, light and distance into a modern abstract seascape.

The result is a calming yet powerful large-scale statement artwork, filled with colour, movement and atmosphere.
