Shrouded Figure (2026) Original Mixed-media Sculpture by Joyce Fournier
10.79 x 24.13 x 10.79cm
£495.57
Original artwork description
This sculpture by Joyce Fournier presents a compelling, abstract figure, characterized by its rounded, organic form. The work rises from a solid rectangular base, its surface textured with visible marks that suggest a hand-molded process. A muted greenish-blue patina covers the form, allowing hints of reddish-brown undertones to emerge, creating a sense of aged depth. The figure's posture, with a gently curved back and a suggestion of a hooded head, evokes a quiet, contemplative presence.
