Original artwork description:

Acrylic painting depicting a a localised shower at Camus Beag (little bay) on the Isle of Skye.
I have tried to capture the ever changing light and atmosphere during a winter day on Skye.
This is a slightly smaller painting than my usual. I have chosen this size because it helps spontaneity and enables me to cover the canvas fast with light loose brushstrokes to convey fast changing rain, sun wind and light.
This painting has been varnished in matt is wire strung at the back and unframed.

Materials used:

acrylic paint
