ABOUT THE ART WORK
This painting depicts a quiet sea bay surrounded by rocky shores. Massive cliffs rise above the water, painted in a complex blend of cool blue, violet, and warm ochre hues, lending them depth and a sense of the vibrant texture of the stone. Graceful sailboats rest at the foot of the cliffs—their slender masts and light-colored hulls contrast with the weight of the cliffs and add a sense of lightness to the composition. The water is calm, almost mirror-like, softly reflecting the shapes and colors of the surrounding landscape. The main focus of the painting is the radiant reflection of the sun on the water's surface. It extends vertically from the horizon downwards, breaking up into a multitude of vibrant brushstrokes—gold, pink, and orange.
