Original artwork description:

The pine trees have utterly enchanted me, drawing me back again and again to paint their graceful silhouettes - gently inclined as if in an elegant bow, their lush crowns and spreading branches set against the radiant turquoise waters of the Adriatic.

I chose an elongated canvas format to echo the sense of endless verticals, the trunks rising skyward and dissolving into light.

The painting was created in a stretched canvas with the painting continued around the edges of the artwork.

The painting is ready to hang, no frame need.

Materials used:

oil
