While creating this painting, I wanted to capture the relaxed charm of a seaside café on a sunlit afternoon. Beneath colorful umbrellas, people gather in quiet conversation while the blue harbor and anchored sailboats create a peaceful holiday atmosphere. I used expressive, economical brushstrokes, simplifying the figures to emphasize the relationships between light, color, and space. Strong warm–cool contrasts and fluid brushwork fill the painting with sunlight, fresh sea air, and a sense of poetic everyday life, inviting the viewer to pause and enjoy the calm rhythm of the coast.
