SaltMeadow is a contemporary landscape print inspired by the quiet beauty of the British coastline.
I created this digital photomontage from my own original photographs, combining and layering fragments of the landscape to create an imagined place. Rather than documenting one particular location, I wanted to capture the feeling of standing beside salt marshes, where land, water and sky meet.
Soft grasses, distant horizons and muted coastal colours create a sense of stillness. The image invites you to pause and look beyond the obvious details.
My digital photomontage process allows me to transform familiar landscapes into something more ambiguous. I cut, layer and rearrange photographic elements until the image develops its own sense of space and atmosphere.
SaltMeadow is part of my collection of contemporary landscape and seascape prints. It would suit a calm, contemporary interior and works particularly well as a piece of art for spaces where you want to create a feeling of quiet and escape.
Each print is produced as a limited edition fine art print and is signed and numbered by me. This artwork is supplied unframed, allowing you to choose a frame that suits your interior.
