The various sorts of roses composed in the bright bouquet on the deep blue background. The most imperative challenge for me was the compilation of different forms and colors of flowers, the sense of their harmony. For background was used a japanese silk kimono, with shining texture. I tried to achieve a silky effect applying the white canvas slightly visible through the color layer.
The light colors of roses maximally contrast with the dark drapery and create a beautiful decorative effect. Wide free brush strockes and open colors make in common an impressionistic sense of painting.
