Original artwork description
A road trip to the Northeast inspired this and other paintings I have done. I love boat paintings, especially working boats. Living in the Mid-West it is hard to find the kind of fishing boats I like to paint. While staying in Rockport, MA I did a painting on location at their harbor. It was quite distracting but fun watching the sea gulls furiously flying around trying to get a fish or lobster as the boats come back to the harbor from a days work at sea.
