Painted on location during my 2017 trip to Italy, this piece captures the dynamic light of Riviera Garibaldi—reflections shifting across the water and architecture, brought to life by the continuous movement of seagulls in flight.
The painting is created on high-quality Canson watercolor paper (29.7 × 42 cm / 11.7 × 16.5 in), cold-pressed and acid-free.
This painting has been exhibited at Festival Rendez-Vous du Carnet de Voyage (Clermont-Ferrand, France, 2018); Italy: Travel Sketches (Saint Petersburg, Russia, 2018); and Matite in Viaggio (Centro Culturale Candiani, Mestre, Venice, Italy, 18 October – 3 November 2019).
The painting will arrive signed and dated, and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
It will be shipped flat and unframed. The artwork will be carefully protected with a thick protective sheet, placed between two sturdy cardboard panels, wrapped in bubble wrap, and securely packaged in a reinforced envelope.
