Ripe sunflowers (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Pavlo Makedonskyi
40 x 30 x 2cm (unframed)
£223.7
Original artwork description
The picture is painted from nature. But I was looking for a creative rethinking and compositional solution in this still life. I wanted to convey the aroma of a Ukrainian sunflower field, the whisper of the wind in the leaves, the warmth of an autumn day, and forever capture the beautiful memories of the beginning of September. I'm especially interested in ripe sunflowers, when they're devoid of bright colors. These sunflowers are associated with autumn with its golden colors. The work is done with acrylic paints on linen canvas.
