This uplifting painting is full of movement and light. I used both brush and palette knife to create layers of colour. Light is a symbol of hope but also gives something to aim towards amongst the confusion of life. I wanted to create a feeling of distance in this abstract; a peaceful place to aim for. It is textured and has gold highlights to catch the sunshine.
