I created Remy as an offering of a space for a moment of connection, a liminal place. My process always involves the building of layers of texture, drips, welcomed mistakes and the organic travelling of paint. This process builds the story of a complex life lived, the scars, the conversations and where the light has reached. Remy expresses my optimism, my passion for humanity, my love for learning and my continual desire to communicate on a deeper, universal level. My paintings are intuitive, gestural and fluid.
