This original marble sculpture on andesite stand is one of the latest artworks by the contemporary Bulgarian professional sculptor Ognyan Chitakov, deeply inspired by postmodernism, irregular geometry and cubism. The English scientist Sir Isaac Newton founded classical mechanics on the view that space is distinct from body and that time passes uniformly without regard to whether anything happens in the world. In carving this marble sculpture, the artist sought to capture the essence of fluidity within the solid form.
