Artwork description
Nothing makes me feel safer than being able to hide from sight. Here a female nude does just that by taking refuge within the leaves.
I am drawn to the nude as a symbol of vulnerability, and I am inspired by how the posture or stance of a body can offer information into the psyche of the person in the frame.
As all prints are hand pressed, each will have some minor differences, which I believe adds to the character of the print. I cannot guarantee that you will receive the edition featured in the photo.
Materials used:
lino block, Caligo inks, Japanese Hosho Paper

- Linocut on Paper
