Every now and then I love the exercise of painting from a Black and White Photo. It was the case with this painting.i had saved with photo ages ago but realized only once I began the painting, that this woman resembles my another when she was quite young. I love the expression captured in this face; as if you can almost read this person’s thoughts... This canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung unframed.
