Original artwork description
Walking on the fells is my passion and this particular valley is completely unspoilt. On a recent hike in a remote valley the views from the top of the fells was breath taking. Occasionally coming across small tarns glistening in the sunshine. I sketched it, made colour notes and photographed the moment. I wanted to capture the play of light which is so fleeting in an oil painting.
On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.
Reflected In A Tarn is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
