Another bird in my collection of wildlife animals, but first Raven. You have to agree that there is a something majestic about those creatures, wildly used in horror movies. Last time I saw one was at the Cemetery which only strengthened the stereotype I have had in my head and I did my very best to present it in the final piece. I have to say I had a great fun painting it; I tried to keep it nice and loose where possible. Main colours I used were French Ultramarine and Ivory Black for the shadows and dark parts of the painting. I hope you like it as much as I do…
