Original artwork description:

This work depicts a field of lavender in the south of France, an ancient church basking in the intense heat in the near distance. One can almost hear the hum of bees and feel the Mediterranean haze, the air tinged with cypress and pine. This is a land overflowing with milk and purple honey. The day is at its zenith, and there is nothing to do but surrender to the sun, seduced by this most heavenly corner of France.
