In this painting I wanted to express the atmosphere of spring — its freshness, luminous light, and the quiet sense of hope that arrives with the first warm days. Blossoming trees create a soft canopy of flowers while sunlight gently passes through the branches. Along the green path beneath them, a couple walks calmly with their small dog, adding a feeling of peace and simple harmony.

The work started as a plein-air painting in Madrid’s Retiro Park and was later refined in the studio, helping me preserve the authentic mood of that place and moment.
