Original artwork description:

I painted two metal toys, two wonderful BLUE ROBOTS that children in the 1960s used to play with.

I imagined that they were suspended from two different springs that made them jump one from the opposite side of the other, who knows if they would collide?

The title I gave is PRECIOUS JUMPS because they are memory jumps that take me back to my childhood, I did not play with these particular toys but if I had they would have been companions of many adventures!


I made this work on a canvas, I treated the background and coloured it with several layers of colour to achieve a unique atmosphere, I traced the outline of the painting with chalk and only then did I start painting with oil colours.

I use oil colour by overlaying many thin layers of appropriately diluted colour to create the effects I want.
Once perfectly dry, I finished the surface with a final coat of varnish to make it UV-resistant.

SOSPESI is the series I started painting in 2022, with which I wish to reflect on the suspended moments that life places before us and, through art, overcome the barrier of time, to give value to each moment.

The work does not have a frame but is ready to hang.

The work is signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

For shipping outside the EU, we need to wait for authorisation from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, which may entail a delay of a few days
