ABOUT THE ART WORK
There are places that remain with us long after the journey ends. Positano is one of them.
As the first morning light spreads across the Amalfi Coast, the white houses begin to glow against the cliffs, the sea reflects the colours of the awakening sky, and the village reveals the quiet elegance that has made it one of the world's most beloved destinations.
In this painting I wanted to capture that fleeting moment when everything feels still. The light is soft, the Mediterranean is calm, and every rooftop, garden and terrace becomes part of a single harmonious landscape. Rather than painting architectural details, I focused on the atmosphere—the feeling of standing above Positano and watching a new day begin.
This artwork is part of my Positano Collection, a series devoted to exploring the changing light and mood of one extraordinary place. Each painting captures a different moment, creating a visual journey through the Amalfi Coast and inviting the viewer to experience it again and again.
For me, travel is not only about discovering beautiful places. It is about preserving the emotions they leave behind. Through expressive brushwork and luminous colour, I hope to transform those memories into paintings that continue to inspire long after the journey has ended.
