Original artwork description
During the long weeks of winter, locked down because of covid, I have taken a growing interest in the birds in my garden. Every morning this pigeon comes and sits on the same tree branch and waits patiently until I put out some seed for it's breakfast. It's a common wood pigeon but has such character and subtle but beautiful feather colours.
The painting is semi-abstract and painted in oils, using a palette knife and brushes. There is a small amount of texture. The side are left white so it can be hung as it is but suitable for framing if you wish to.
It is initialled on the front and signed on the back along with the title and date. A Certificate of Authenticity will be provided.
I ship internationally using an insured, tracked and signed for service. Please note that payment of import duty/tax/vat is the responsibility of the buyer.
