Meriwether Lewis with a tip of the hat to Picasso.
One of my favorite things to do is create artwork in the style of the greats. The best way to leave a style or technique is to study those who do that technique really well. This is a practice I have been doing for many many years. It is one that I find such a joy to do as well.
Portrait of Meriwether Lewis is done in the style of Picasso's portraits. Reference image was a self portrait.
The Lewis Portrait is 9 x 12 inches on canvas board. It is signed on the front and signed/dated on the back. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
