Original artwork description
A watercolor sketch for the interior "Pochaevsky Skete" was drawn from nature during my cycling plein-air travel across western Ukraine in the spring of 2020.
It was during self-isolation, I lived in a tent in the vicinity of Pochaev and painted both the Lavra itself and the skete.
It was interesting to discover interesting and unexpected views of the Lavra every day, especially from unusual sides.
The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.
Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.
All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
