This watercolor was created en plein air in the heart of Segovia, where I painted directly from life. The warm afternoon light softly embraced the majestic Cathedral of Segovia, while cool shadows added harmony and contrast to the vibrant Plaza Mayor. I wanted to capture the quiet elegance, luminous atmosphere, and timeless character of this unforgettable place before the moment slipped away.

This painting is part of my ongoing Around the World project, through which I travel to paint some of the world’s most inspiring places, preserving their unique beauty and spirit in watercolor.
